The end is nigh'...

When I looked at the date today I couldn't believe that it is already nearly April! Where has this year gone?! I feel like i'm a broken record as I always comment on how quickly time goes - but it really does. Particularly this year... Graduation is only a few months away!

Apologies for being so missing-in-action lately, it has truly been a hectic time. Here's a few things I have been getting up to in the past few months:

• My Dissertation - It has crept up on me quickly, and has been taking up my whole life lately. Luckily, it should be done and handed in within the next two weeks so I will hopefully get a social life again!
• Job Hunting - this year has been a blur of application after application for graduate jobs and schemes, and it has been so much more challenging that I ever could have imagined! Though I have faith that I will find one by Summer hopefully! I am excited to leave Uni and start a new chapter somewhere new.
• Starting an Internship - I was lucky enough to have gained a term-time marketing internship which I can do on the side for the last few months of Uni, which is perfect! Extra experience and extra money, what's not to like.
• Visiting friends - As my last year of being a student is quickly moving on, I decided to make the most of my spare time and make the effort to visit friends in various places. I had a weekend trip to Liverpool recently, and last week also went to Leeds. It has made me realise how much of the UK I still have to explore!

So hopefully you will understand how busy I have been lately! But I hope to add many more posts to my blog soon - particularly as my Dissertation will be ticked off in the coming weeks!

Hello There

Im back!

I apologise for the lack of posts recently but you know when life (and laziness) just gets in the way? I have been busy with work and also finally having a social life as my friends slowly come back from university for the summer.

With the lovely weather comes festival season. Now i'm not going to any big festivals this year sadly but there are always a few small local ones where I live which are always fun to go to with some friends. I went to 'Sherston Fest' (literally a field in the next town over) for the evening with some friends and I had such a great evening with some good music, good food, a few drinks and the sun shining.

Isn't is amazing how much a little bit of sun can improve your mood?!

Update

It has been unbelievably long since I wrote a blog post - I am not very good with this blogging malarky.

I thought i'd try get back into it with a short update on the past few months...

- Christmas was lovely having the whole family back together to welcome in 2013. The break from uni was great but again it just flew by - three weeks was not long enoughhh.

- Second year has already flown by, I cannot believe i'm already halfway through. Exams are all done for Semester one so I have had a short time of relaxing in the past few weeks before Semester two gets well and truly underway!

- With my return to University after Christmas I have managed to get an internship for Easter which is amazing - i'm anxious but excited to finally get some hands-on marketing experience.

- As the year moves swiftly on, my year abroad moves swiftly closer. I will be in Toulouse in France for Year 3 of university which is daunting yet exciting as I struggle to improve my extremely bad french skills. With this adventure abroad though my goal is to keep a very regular blog going so I record every aspect of it. My virtual diary for the year.

- One of my new years resolutions is to blog more often so watch this space!
