My Graduation Ball

Hello!

Today I thought id share what I wore to my recent Grad ball - it was such a great night and a perfect way to say goodbye to University!

The Outfit
I got this dress last year from Zara but I have seen very similar ones in Zara and other shops this season! I love this dress as the white makes it a beautiful light and summery dress and it is made from stretchy scuba material so its super comfortable. Also, the low cut neck line and skater skirt style means it is very flattering.
The shoes I wore are just some old strappy sandles from Peacocks a few years ago, though there are loads in New Look this summer if you wanted to get your hands on a pair!
And finally I have a little necklace from H&M and earrings from Accessorize.

I lightly curled my hair and on my lips I have the Apocalips lip laquer in 'Eclipse'

The night was pretty good, there were acts such as Katy B and Labrinth playing as well as a funfair for everyone. It feels bitter sweet to have finally finished!

The White Blazer

All summer I was pining after buying a white blazer. I think they look so smart, tailored and chic, especially in the summer! Sadly I bought one a bit late for the summer months but im still super happy with this one from H&M. The cotton blend makes it a little less 'im in the office' and a bit more casual.

Blazer - H&M
Jeans - Zara
Top - Mango
Bag - Fossil
I haven't done a blog post in aaages but since coming back to Uni I have had so much going on I just haven't felt the urge to blog, especially as it is my last year of ever being a student! But I feel I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things again!

Plenty more posts to come!

Noir et blanc

I recently went to our end of year 'Gala' when I was in Toulouse and thought i'd show you my OOTN!

Dress - Zara
Shoes - Primark
Earrings - Accessorize

I'm not one to follow 'trends' to the letter but I do know lately there has been a lot of black and white clothing around the shops lately. I have embraced the fact that I live in monochrome clothing so this trend is perrrrfect for me! Its always hard to know what to put with a white dress so I went for all black accessories.

Clutch - Primark
Furry Coat - H&M

Of course the downside to a white dress is its a struggle to keep it clean. Needless to say I was devastated when someone spilt a bit of red wine on me during my night! Its not catastrophic though, I think I have just about got most of it out (thank you Vanish!)

If you love the Monochrome trend as much as I do - check out my friend Lara's post about monochrome summer style  lillielar.blogspot.com

What do you think of the monochrome trends?

Beautiful things

Thought I would share some of the bits and pieces that I have been loving recenty.

My beautiful Urban Outfitters shorts have been great for all the festivals this year. Very comfy and go with everything!

I got this jumper in the Zara sale for an absolute steal of £5! I just loved the design and it was great to chuck on when the evenings get chilly at festivals (the next time I say 'festivals' hit me). Not the greatest quality as the unicorns are coming away at the edges but for £5 -very cute.

It is my birthday at the start of September and my wonderful friends gave me my gift early as I will not see them on the day! Part of my present was this beautiful handbag from M&S. Its a perfect everyday bag and fits endless amounts of clutter inside with the various pockets :)

As featured in my few posts you can probably tell that I love flowers for the summertime - they give a bohemian twist to any outfit. These are all from Primark apart from the smaller daisy one at the bottom which is from H&M.

As much as I love the summer I have been enjoying wearing these beauties again as the evenings get a bit chilly. They are so comfortable and give you a nice height whilst still looking casual. I got them last winter at Topshop (they were quite cheap considering they are leather), no doubt they will bring out something similar this season.

What have you been loving recently?
